Under Ali's coaching and training I went from a 212 pound Clydesdale that was constantly getting injured training for sprint triathlons to finishing a 1/2 Ironman with no injuries and weighing about 185.

I am the type of person that trains too hard for three weeks and then not enough for a month. Even as a level 1 athlete, Ali reads over my daily log and emails me when I am training too hard. The fact that I know she is reading my log everyday makes me feel guilty about slacking off. When I missed two workouts Ali emailed me to check in.

The speed work is paying off. I ran 7:43 pace at the 2.6 mile weekly race on the Charles - 3rd/15 women... and just behind former BTTer Amy Porter. Thanks for pushing us every Wednesday.

Thanks for a fantastic workout this summer, Ali. I know you do this pro bono, so I really do appreciate your time...even though we all know you look forward to torturing us each Wednesday:) My first year was great. I did the Mass State Sprint and the Urban Epic Olympic in Portland, and performed as planned. The track workout certainly helped. I liked it so much in fact, I just started track practice with Community Running...great group. Some fast runners. I'm training now for the Boston Half, and feeling quite good with a few weeks to go. I've been training with Ali for 2 years with great success. She's competed in a lot of races so she can advise on how to prepare and compete in running races, triathlons, open water swims and cycling time trials. She provides a schedule tailored to my needs and teaches me a lot about nutrition, stretching, strength training and recovery. She's a great motivator and attends many races to support her clients. She regularly checks in to ensure that the training schedule works and makes necessary adjustments to accommodate a busy work/personal life.
